Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: July 2026DiS Consulting Ltd ("DiS", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Who we are
DiS Consulting Ltd is an independent defence consultancy based in Bristol, United Kingdom. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at enquiries@dis-consulting.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect
This is a brochure website. We do not operate accounts, e-commerce or online forms. We only receive personal data when you choose to contact us:
- Enquiry details: your name, email address and the content of any message you send us by email.
- Technical data: because the site loads fonts from third-party providers (see our Cookie Policy), your browser's IP address and device information may be processed by those providers to deliver the page.
How we use it and our lawful basis
We use the details in your enquiry solely to respond to you and to discuss a potential engagement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. We use reputable service providers for email and website delivery; where a provider processes data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted in line with our normal record-keeping.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email enquiries@dis-consulting.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This policy is provided in good faith and reviewed periodically. If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date shown above.
